[ARCHIVED] POLL WORKERS NEEDED!!

Elections Alert

Butler County Bureau of Elections is in need of individuals who will serve as poll workers in various precinct locations throughout the county for the upcoming June 2, 2020 Primary Election.

Elections are vital to Democracy. The poll workers, including precinct Election Board members (judge of elections, inspectors, and clerks), who work at the polling places on Election Day are crucial to the successful operation of an election.

Poll workers are completely trained in all aspects of the election process including the operation of the voting equipment. Workers’ duties would involve being at the polling place from 6-6:30 a.m. to approximately 9-9:30p.m. for the Election Day, twice a year. Workers will be reimbursed for their time at the polls. They will be paid between $185 to $200 (tax-free) per day depending on the position.

Anyone interested in accepting one of these positions or wanting more information may call the Elections Bureau office at 724-284-5308.
