Tax Certification Requests

The Butler County Treasurer's Office accepts online payments for TAX CERTIFICATIONS for the municipalities listed. No need to write checks for tax certifications or physically mail in your tax cert requests.

ELIGIBLE MUNICIPALITIES

Callery Borough, Connoquenessing Borough, Prospect Borough, Saxonburg Borough, Valencia Borough, West Sunbury Borough.

County & Municipal certifications fee $10.

City of Butler County certifications fee $10.

Convenience fees are in addition to the amount (s) owed and are calculated as follows:

• A 2.50% convenience fee with a minimum of $2.00 will be charged for all credit or debit card payments.
• A $1.50% flat fee for E-checks.

You will have the opportunity to review the total amount due with the convenience fee prior to the payment submission.

While you will be paying for a Tax Certification to Butler County, the full amount of the convenience fee is passed to Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) as a provider of this service.

Disclaimers

A $35.00 fee will be assessed on all returned items: checks, credit card payments and online E-checks.

There is a $10 chargeback fee for all returned online credit card payments and a $15 chargeback fee for all returned online E-check payments.

Convenience fee for credit & debit cards apply upon purchase or payment.
