Student Internship

Internships can be a valuable asset to our Department while providing a practical education in probation and parole to students. Our interns will be exposed to different aspects of the Criminal Justice System and attain the experience and skills necessary for a future career. Student interns are regarded as professionals during the placement and are expected to conduct themselves appropriately.

Probation / Parole Officers

Most internships are working with Probation/Parole Officers as they perform their day-to-day duties. Placement will be handled on an individual basis between the student and the Department. Any special interests, needs or limitations should be noted at the time formal application for placement is made.
